Women's History Month Feature

NSU Art student Vanessa Moore was featured by the Osage Nation Museum. This feature was in participation with the 5 Women Artists campaign by highlighting 5 Osage women artists for Women's History Month.

Ms. Moore is of Osage, Pawnee, Blackfeet and Cherokee descent from Hominy, Oklahoma. She is currently a Studio Art Major at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, where she has had the opportunity to experiment with many different mediums and forms of art in both the 2D and 3D profession, including oil painting, watercolor, printmaking, clay sculpting, 
and wire.

Professor Lance Hunter Wins First Place

Professor Lance Hunter won First Place in the Rockies West National 2016. The exhibition was held at the Western Colorado Center for the Arts in Grand Junction from March 2nd – April 2nd. His painting “Net Worth” previously received Best of Show honors in the Keystone National Works on Paper Exhibition in Pennsylvania in 2014.
